How to report something or block someone
Tell the group's Admins about a post, comment or message, and block a person so you stop hearing from them.
Report a post, comment or message
- Tap Report under the post or comment. In chat, hover over the message (or tap it on a phone) and tap Report.
- Say what's wrong if you like, then tap Send report.
The group's Admins get an email and review it. They see what was written and who reported it; the person you reported isn't told it was you.
Reporting a direct message shares that one message with the group's Admins, so they can help. They still can't read the rest of your conversation.
Block someone
On the group's Families tab, tap Block next to the person's name. After that:
- Neither of you can send the other a direct message.
- You don't see each other's posts on the Feed.
They aren't told. Tap Unblock to undo it. Group Admins still see everyone's posts so they can keep the group safe.
Review reports (Admins)
When something is reported, Admins get an email, and the Feed shows a "reports to review" note. Open it, or go to Settings → Reports.
- Remove it deletes the post or comment, or removes the chat message. Other reports about the same thing close too.
- Dismiss closes the report and leaves the content alone.
Recently handled shows what was done and by whom. Below it, Admin activity lists who let families in or out, handed the group over, or handled reports.
