How to add another parent or guardian

A second parent signs in with their own email and shares everything in your household: the students, the planner, records, and every group your family belongs to.

Create the invite

1. Open My family.
2. Under Parents and guardians, find Add another parent.
3. Type their email address (optional) and tap Create invite.
   • With an email, we email them the link, and it only works for that address.
   • Without one, tap Copy link and send it to them yourself, by text or email.

Invites last 14 days and work once. Changed your mind? Tap Revoke.

What the other parent does

1. Open the link and tap Sign in to join.
2. Sign in with the emailed link.
3. Add their name, agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy, and tap Join with your household's name.

They'll land on Home, already part of your family and your groups.

Each person can belong to one household for now. If the other parent already set up their own household, they can't join yours. Contact support and we'll help.
