How to see all your events in one calendar

Subscribe once with your private link, and your groups' events and co-op days show up in your own calendar.

Your calendar link puts your family events and everything you can see on your groups' calendars into the calendar app you already use, plus the days your students have co-op classes.

In Gatherings itself, the Event Calendar (Event Calendar in the menu; Events on a phone) shows the same things. Use List with This month, Next 3 months or Next 6 months, or Month for a Sunday-to-Saturday calendar grid with arrows to move between months.

Get your link

  1. Open My family and find Calendar subscription. (Or tap Add to my calendar on any group's Calendar tab.)
  2. Tap Get my calendar link.
  3. Tap the button for your calendar:
    • Google Calendar opens Google Calendar and asks you to add it.
    • Apple Calendar opens Calendar on your iPhone, iPad or Mac and asks you to subscribe.
    • Outlook opens Outlook on the web.

Using something else? Tap Copy link and paste it where your calendar app says "Subscribe" or "From URL".

What's in it

  • Your family events (see How to plan family events).
  • Events from every group you belong to, including Circle events you can see.
  • Co-op days, with each student's classes, times and rooms.
  • Birthdays: your family's, and those other families in your groups share (see How to track birthdays).

Changes show up on their own. Google can take several hours to check for updates; Apple and Outlook are usually quicker. To answer an event, open it in Gatherings: the link in each calendar entry takes you there.

Keep it private

Anyone with your link can see your calendar. If it gets out, tap Make a new link and the old one stops working; then add the new one to your calendar. Turn off stops it entirely.
