How to use to-do lists
Shared task lists in a group: who's bringing what, setting up and cleaning up.
A to-do list is a shared checklist in a group, like "Spring play" or "Park day setup". Everyone who can see it can add tasks, take one, and tick it off.
Start a list
Open the group's To-dos tab. (Leaders and Admins always see it; everyone sees it once there's a list.) Type a name, choose Everyone or one Circle, and tap Start list.
Add tasks
Under the list, type the task, pick who it's for (or leave it as Anyone), add a due date if you like, and tap Add.
Do a task
- Tap I'll do it to take a task nobody has yet; Give it back if plans change.
- Tap the box to tick it off. Done tasks drop to the bottom of the list.
- Past their due date, unfinished tasks show Overdue.
Change or delete
Whoever added a task, and the list's maker, Leaders and Admins, can delete it with ✕. The list's maker, Leaders and Admins can Delete list.
Teens can see to-do lists but parents do the tasks. For volunteer slots with a set number of spots, use sign-up sheets.
