How to plan family events

Your family doesn't need a group to plan things. Family events go on your Event Calendar and under Coming up on Home, next to anything from your groups. Only people in your household see them.

Parents add, change and delete family events. Teens see them but can't change them.

Add a family event

1. Open the Event Calendar and tap Add an event. Or, on Home, tap + Add an event beside Coming up.
2. If you can add events to a group too, For shows Our family and your groups. Leave it on Our family (tapping a group opens that group's New event page instead).
3. Fill in:
   • What: the event's name.
   • Starts, and Ends (optional).
   • Repeats: for a weekly piano lesson or a monthly outing. Pick Until, the last date it can happen (up to 52 dates).
   • Who: Whole family, or one student.
   • Where (optional): it shows a Map link.
   • Details (optional): what to bring, tickets, who's driving.
4. Tap Add event.

Family events have a Family badge in the list, and on the Month view they're in the clay color.

Edit or delete

1. Tap the event on the Event Calendar or Home.
2. Tap Edit, make your changes, then Save changes. For a repeating event, choose Only this date or This date and all later ones first.
3. Or tap Delete (for a repeating event, Delete this date or Delete this and later dates).
