How to catch up on missed lessons
Move unfinished lessons forward in one tap, skipping weekends and days off, or have it done every morning.
Life happens: a sick day, a field trip, a slow week. When lessons from earlier days aren't checked off, the Planner shows how many and offers Catch up (parents only). It's part of Hearth.
Catch up
- Tap Catch up.
- Choose Whose lessons (everyone, one student, or the lessons you do together) and Subjects (all, or one).
- Choose how:
- Push the plan forward: the missed lessons start today, and everything after them in that subject moves on by the same number of school days, keeping its order and spacing. Weekends and days off are skipped.
- Put the missed lessons on today: only the missed lessons move; nothing else changes.
- Tap Move lessons.
Changed your mind? The planner shows "Moved … lessons forward" with Undo for a day and a half afterwards. Lessons go back to where they were (unless you've checked them off since).
School days and days off
On My family, under School days and days off:
- Tick the days you do school (Monday to Friday to start).
- Add days off, like holidays, a vacation or a break, with Add days off. Catching up never puts lessons on them.
Catch up automatically
On the same card, tick Catch up automatically each morning and tap Save. Early each morning, anything left unchecked from earlier days is pushed forward for every student and subject. The planner says what moved, with Undo.
Up to date as of October 31, 2026.
