How to share your schedule with grandparents and family
A private link for each relative to see the kids' activities, family events and birthdays, as a web page or on their phone's calendar.
Grandparents and relatives can follow along without an account.
Make a link (parents)
- On My family, find Share with family.
- Type who it's for ("Grandma Jan"), tick what they see (activities, family events, birthdays, co-op days), and which students.
- Tap Make a link, then Copy link and send it to them by text or email.
What they see
The link opens a page with the next six weeks, day by day, which updates by itself. At the top, they can add it to Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar on their phone in one tap, so new plans show up there too.
They never see lessons or schoolwork, and nothing about other families in your groups. Students show by first name only. A location shows only if you added one to the event or activity.
Change or stop it
Each relative gets their own link, so you can turn one off without affecting the others. New link replaces it (the old one stops working; send them the new one). Turn off stops it.
One link is free. More links are part of Hearth.
